These are plate mounted switches, they clip into a plate that sits above the main PCB, eg Filco and Keychron keyboards. If your keyboard has SMD-LED’s you will need the RGB switches, if you use the non-RGB switches in an SMD-LED keyboard the switches will block the backlighting.
